We are delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding business in Harrogate. Having experienced a successful last few years, the business is continuing with its growth and would like to hire a Purchase Ledger Assistant to support the Purchase Ledger Manager.
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be working within a friendly and supportive team. The role will be varied and fast paced, you would have ownership of your own ledger.
Responsibilities
* Raise purchase orders
* Process purchase invoices
* Post outgoing bank payments
* Perform statement reconciliations
* Process weekly payment runs
* Deal with supplier queries
* Provide holiday cover for the finance department staff
Key skills
* Experience within a finance role
* Good communication skills
* Work proficiently with Excel
* Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
