Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and ensure the accurate, timely, and reliable preparation and maintenance of the company's financial accounts. This is achieved in compliance with Fundamental Accounting Principles, the Refresco Group Accounting Manual, and the requirements outlined in the Companies Act. Additionally, the role involves managing and continuously improving all financial accounting functions within the Business Unit.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Detailed multi-currency cash flow forecasting and variance analysis, for reporting and to support hedging activities.
2. Balance sheet foreign currency revaluations.
3. Journal preparation and posting.
4. Balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Group reporting for non-trading subsidiary business.
6. Alcohol declaration workings and submission to HMRC.
7. Support budget and forecast activities within the team in line with reporting deadlines.
8. Cover other team responsibilities including Treasury.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess experience in reviewing financial records for external audits or managing the audit process within an accounts department. They should also have a strong track record of preparing comprehensive statutory accounts for a large organization and hold a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification (or be at finalist level).

Kegworth Head Office, Permanent, Monday-Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Friday 8:30am - 4pm.
