Astute's Renewables team is very proudly partnered with a company in the UK's biogas sector who are progressing forward with some strategic development and as a result, we're looking for a Construction Project Manager to join them. We have a solid and long‑term pipeline of builds here so we're wanting to recruit a permanent member of staff but if you're a contractor with genuine pedigree in delivering AD plant builds, I'd like to hear from you too.
This position will require someone who is open to staying away for some of / most of the week in order to be boots on the ground, but with the majority of projects being in and around the central and southern areas of England.

Responsibilities
* Manage the build of anaerobic digestion plants from a shovel in the ground to operational handover
* Manage on‑site contractors and the supply chain for the projects
* Manage and oversee full project programme, reporting back to senior management with key information
* Have full ownership and accountability for project costs and ensuring the delivery of the projects is as per the original budget and timescale
* Manage any project risks and identifying them early, reporting to senior management
* Be boots on the ground and manage from the site, as well as remote working when necessary
* Travel to the sites when required
Professional Qualifications
* Higher education in a relevant field
* A recognised project management qualification is required
* Experience delivering energy from waste projects, with biogas builds being a plus
* UK driving licence
* Willingness to stay away
Personal Skills
* A problem solver
* Enjoying being on site and directing from the floor
* Strong with cost control and contract management
* Experienced with construction projects
