We are seeking a compassionate, creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team on an Older Adult acute inpatient ward.

You will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing, dignity and recovery of our patients by planning and delivering a wide range of meaningful therapeutic and recreational activities.

You must be warm, empathetic, resourceful and a strong communicator, with excellent organisational skills. You must also be reliable, be able to work both independently and as part of a team and have experience working with older people or in a care/mental health setting.

Plan and deliver tailored therapeutic, social and recreational activities to support patients with a range of mental health needs.

Promote wellbeing, independence and recovery through meaningful occupation and engagement

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to align activities with individual care plan

Encourage participation, reduced isolation and support dignity and inclusion in a safe environment

Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure they are effective and meaningful
