Join Our Team as a Female Waking Night Support Worker
Location:
Redhill, Surrey
Salary:
£12.30 per hour (£22,386 per annum) plus benefits.
Hours:
35 hours per week, between 9.30 pm and 7.30 am, Monday to Sunday, on a two-week rolling shift rota.
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:
A valid full UK manual driving license is desirable but not essential.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. No skilled worker visas can be sponsored.
Essential Criteria
To be considered, you should demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas:
* Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP)
* Autism and Severe Learning Disabilities
* Physical Disabilities (Wheelchair user)
* Physical Challenging Behaviour
* Resilience
About You

What Will You Be Doing?
As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you'll support individuals in their journey towards independence. Your responsibilities include:
* Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Understanding and supporting individual needs.
* Empowering Independence: Supporting personal goals and encouraging exploration.
* Social Engagement: Facilitating participation in activities, holidays, and hobbies.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful and dignified treatment of individuals and families.
Supporting a Specific Individual
You will support a young lady living independently in Redhill, with complex health needs including autism, learning disabilities, and RCDP. Support involves personal care, nutrition, communication (Makaton, picture exchange), mobility, and emotional support. Patience, positivity, and a calm demeanor are essential, especially given her love for activities like rollerblading and her enthusiasm for Christmas music. Being physically fit, reliable, and able to drive is important, as you will work on a 2:1 basis and enjoy outings together.
