Equans is looking for an HR Administration Manager to join our team on a 24-month FTC basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The package includes a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits.
The HR Administration Manager is responsible for ensuring effective administration of processes such as Hire to Retire, employee vetting, data management, and occupational health. The role involves driving continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices to deliver high-quality, compliant procedures.
This position leads a team of 21 and supports key stakeholders within the UK Business Unit to implement strategic and operational people initiatives that enhance performance.
The role reports to the Head of Employee Services and is a key leadership position within the team. It also involves deputising for the Head of Employee Services as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of the UK Business Unit strategy and payroll projects.
* Ensure excellent employee experience through HR administration services, meeting SLA and KPI standards in compliance with legislation and policies.
* Implement process controls and segregation of duties to support cybersecurity, ethics, and GDPR compliance.
* Address process failures, identify root causes, and develop action plans.
* Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with HR and IT teams.
* Maintain up-to-date process documentation and ensure team understanding.
* Handle escalations and provide expert guidance on HR processes and legal compliance.
* Work with the Senior Payroll Manager to streamline processes and improve quality and compliance.
* Coordinate annual salary reviews and ensure accurate and timely communication.
* Support contract mobilisations/demobilisations for seamless transitions.
* Foster a culture of high employee engagement through leadership and continuous improvement.
* Manage contractual changes, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract amendments for a large employee base.

Candidate Profile
* Knowledge of employment legislation related to HR administration
* Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma
* Strong relationship-building skills at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems like SAP/SuccessFactors
* Experience managing HR services for large employee populations
* Ability to meet SLA and KPI standards
* Effective leadership and presentation skills
* Excellent change and project management skills
* Data-driven strategic thinking
* Experience coaching and managing team members
* Knowledge of policy implementation, TUPE regulations, and occupational health management
