Showroom Manager
Location: 79 Clough Rd, Hull HU6 7PL
Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week, permanent
Salary: £24,363.75 per annum
A day in the life of an HSL Showroom Manager
The Showroom Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional operational and commercial standards for their store and home visit service (where applicable). This involves leading all customer and team activities within the store and in-home visits, creating an environment where individuals are coached and inspired to perform their best.
Responsibilities
* Achieve KPIs for the store and hub, including Average Order Value, Customer Conversion rate, and Order Volume per team member.
* Manage cash and payment systems in line with company policies.
* Provide performance reports to the Area Manager.
* Deliver sales training to ensure team members meet service benchmarks and maximize sales opportunities through Up Selling and Cross Selling.
* Monitor competitor activity and local market conditions, providing insights to the Area Manager.
* Maintain the visual standards of stores, Vans, and teams to represent a premium brand following company guidelines.
People and Communication
* Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales assistants and act as a key contact for the Area Manager.
* Organize and support training in product knowledge and new staff induction.
* Recruit high-quality, representative staff aligned with the brand.
* Manage team performance through regular appraisals and feedback.
* Engage in personal development and company training opportunities.
* Participate in area communication networks to share knowledge and updates.
* Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of staff, customers, and visitors.
