Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health, Safety and Security department of a forensic secure service. We are looking for an individual with an interest in health, safety and security to join our multi‑disciplinary team. You will have excellent communication skills with a positive and flexible attitude and will be expected to be dynamic and committed by actively contributing to and supporting health, safety and security in a forensic mental health setting.


About the Facility

The Oxford Clinic is a medium secure forensic mental health facility comprising three wards with 42 beds across all three wards. Many of our patients have had experience of the criminal justice system in the past, and will be subject to a detention under the Mental Health Act. While not working directly with patients you will be contributing to a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment.


Responsibilities

* Ensure safety within the clinic, using the See, Think, Act version 3 framework.
* Provide security awareness training of all clinical professionals within the service.
* Liaise with staff at all levels and demonstrate a dedicated approach in providing a high‑quality service.
* Act as a high‑quality health, safety, and security lead for the clinic.
