Food Production Operator
Pay: £14ph (regular overtime available at enhanced pay rate available)
Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs 7.00am-3.30pm Friday
Location: Corby (NN17 4DU)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Production Operator has arisen to join them from the New Year. This is a varied role, which will include working in various departments daily, conducting a variety of a duties, supporting production supervisors to ensure daily production targets are achieved:

Operating industrial mixing, blending, and occasional packaging machinery.
Accurately measuring and weighing raw ingredients according to specific recipes or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Strictly adhering to food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations.
Maintaining meticulous production records and batch paperwork.
Carrying out full clean-downs and routine machine checks to maintain a sanitary workspace.
Operating a Reach Fork-Lift Truck on occasion.
Packing finished goods ready for despatch
This role will require the ability to lift to 25kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working as part of a team to meet daily production targetsWhat we need from the successful candidate:
Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment, as a food production operator, production assistant, mixer, mixing operator, manufacturing assistant, manufacturing assistant.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of tasks.
Passion to produce high quality products.
Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Valid external Reach license would be advantageousYou will be joining a small manufacturing company, who have an enviable reputation in their niche field of food manufacturing. Working directly for the production supervisors and site coordinator this role offers variety on a daily basis. The organisation delivers quality products, and they are keen to recruit a Food Production Operator who strives to offer the same. A Reach forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential.
