This role is crucial for supporting the Headteacher and Trust in financial decision-making, managing school operations, and being the forward face of the school to the community. Day-to-day of the role:
Utilise MIS (Management Information Systems) like Sims, Arbor, or Bromcom to manage school data efficiently. Our school operates on Arbor, but we value strong MIS skills from any platform.
Collaborate with the Trust finance team to assist the Headteacher in financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenditures.
Handle local purchase ledger functions and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
Manage the Site Supervisor, ensuring the school estate is safe, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Work closely with the Trust HR and Payroll manager to deliver local People functions, including managing sickness absence, payroll checking, and supporting recruitment processes.
Serve as the main 'Front of House' contact, representing the school to parents, carers, the community, and other stakeholders.
