Job Description
The Senior Deal Desk Specialist supports the regional Sales organization in all aspects of the Quote-to-Close process. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role ensures deals are structured correctly to maximize and optimize our revenue, comply with IFS policies, and are executed efficiently.
This position is execution-focused, supporting opportunity management, pricing, approvals, and contract documentation across Europe. As part of a global team, this role may be required to support deals in other regions ( North America, Europe or Asia Pacific).
Key Responsibilities
1. Track and manage assigned business opportunities to ensure timely submissions and efficient processing.
2. Support Sales with product configurations, pricing, and commercial terms.
3. Draft and review deal documentation and approvals (, DARs, Order Forms).
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial guidelines (ASC606 / IFRS15).
5. Liaise with Finance, Legal, and Business Operations on deal-specific questions.
6. Assist with the interpretation of existing contractual documents.
Qualifications
7. Proven experience in Sales Operations, Contract Management, or Deal Desk (software/SaaS preferred).
8. Solid understanding of software licensing models (subscription, SaaS, hosting, perpetual).
9. Familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC606, IFRS15).
10. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
13. University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
