Technical Project Manager (Networking Projects)
12‑Month FTC | PSTN Switch‑Off & WAN Upgrade | Hybrid (London)
We're working with an established and stable technology team who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This role will play a key part in delivering several important networking and infrastructure projects, including two major pieces of work already underway.
Key Projects
You'll take ownership of a number of in‑flight projects, with two core areas of focus:
National PSTN switch‑off project ahead of the January 2027 deadline
WAN standardisation and upgrade project, driving consistency across the organisation
In addition to these priority areas, there are approximately 30 further networking and infrastructure projects planned or in progress that you'll contribute to across the contract.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a Technical Project Manager with:
A strong technical project management background
Excellent project governance skills
Experience leading complex IT and networking projects
Procurement experience, including tendering and vendor selection
A self‑motivated approach, with confidence taking ownership of existing workstreams
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week on site in London
