About the role
Are you ready to shape the financial future of NFU Mutual? In this pivotal role, you'll support the department's contribution to NFUM's medium term plan which define and deliver profit and income targets that support our long-term objectives across a diverse range of General Insurance products. This is an exciting opportunitywhere you'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, analysing trends, challenging performance, and driving initiatives that keep us on track to achieve sustainable growth.
Lead performance insight: benchmark, diagnose variance, and recommend decisive actions. Partner across Pricing, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Products, Marketing, Finance and more to drive outcomes.
From setting strategies and monitoring delivery to contributing innovative ideas and managing projects, you'll play a key role in improving financial performance. Collaboration is central to this role, you'll work closely with teams across Marketing, Proposition, GI Sales, Agency, Finance, Pricing, Underwriting, and more to ensure plans are delivered effectively.

About you
You bring a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills that make you stand out. Experience in technical underwriting is extremely preferable, and a solid background in General Insurance is a must. Exposure to teams with direct accountability will give you an edge, and your analytical ability, especially with tools like Power BI and Excel, will help you turn data into actionable insights.
