An exciting opportunity has arisen for a High Intensity DIT therapist (who was trained outside NHS TTs) to join the NHS Talking Therapies delivered by Talking Therapies Southwark (TTS). We are seeking an enthusiastic DIT therapist who is passionate about developing their skills to help improve the lives of others. Successful applicants can expect to join a highly valued and motivated TTS workforce that is committed to developing a person‑centred and effective psychological assessment and treatment service for the local population.
What You Will Do
You will offer assessment and 1:1 high‑intensity DIT interventions via telephone, video or face‑to‑face appointments. As part of your role you will receive weekly supervision and have opportunities to provide consultation to other colleagues in the team. About the Service
Talking Therapies Southwark provides adult NHS Talking Therapies for Southwark, with over 100 WTE staff across two locality‑based teams—south and north—each responsible for assessment and treatment of patients referred by or registered with GP practices in their part of the borough. Staff work collaboratively as CBT therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, psychological wellbeing practitioners and career coaches, offering assessment, psycho‑educational workshops, groups and individual treatment sessions covering all NHS Talking Therapies recommended modalities.
