Our client, an innovative Fine Art Shipping Company, is currently seeking a Fine Art Warehouse Packer to join their growing team based in Berkshire.
The role of the Fine Art Warehouse Packer is to safely and skilfully pack and crate artworks of various sizes and mediums using appropriate materials and techniques to ensure their protection during transit.
Main responsibilities of the role:
* Inspect artworks to determine how, where, when, or if to touch them and how to pack for transport
* Liaise with other team member such as warehouse operators, art handlers and logistics staff to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries.
* Efficiently handle paperwork such as bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos
* Maintain accurate records of packed artworks, ensuring proper labelling and documentation to track their movement within the warehouse.
* Keep the warehouse clean and organized to help ensure the safety of stored artworks.
The successful Fine Art Warehouse Packer will have previous experience in art handling, fine art packaging, or related fields is preferred.
You will have knowledge of art packing materials, techniques and best practices.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have worked in Fine Art or Removals already and have warehouse experience.
Skills & experience required:
* MUST HAVE previous experience within Fine Art / Removals
* Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Knowledge of art and an appreciation for its value would be an advantage.
