Construction Solicitor – Birmingham (Leading National Firm)

Are you an ambitious Construction Solicitor looking to join a market‑leading national firm with an outstanding reputation in the sector? Our client, a top‑tier UK practice, is seeking a talented lawyer to join their highly regarded Construction team in Birmingham.
The Role
You will work as part of a collaborative and well‑established department advising major developers, contractors, investors, housebuilders, and public‑sector bodies on a full range of construction matters. The work will include:
* Drafting and negotiating high‑value construction contracts, collateral warranties, appointments, and development agreements.
* Advising on JCT and NEC contracts for national and regional development projects.
* Supporting senior colleagues on large‑scale infrastructure, commercial, residential, and mixed‑use schemes.
* Handling contentious or non‑contentious matters depending on your background and preference.
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with 2–6 years’ PQE gained within a recognised construction team.
* Have experience in non‑contentious, contentious, or a mixed construction caseload.
* Possess strong technical drafting skills and the ability to handle complex matters with confidence.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, commercial awareness, and a proactive, client‑focused approach.
* Be keen to develop professionally within a supportive, forward‑thinking firm.
