Job Title: Finance and Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a Finance and Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated team at Abbey School, an Independent Special School based in Chester, for children and young people with complex learning difficulties.
This role offers the possibility of some hours being worked from home following a probation period.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers for the school, processing transactions into the Xero accounts package.
2. Supporting the School Business Manager with accounting transactions and reports.
3. Managing payroll administration.
4. Processing purchase orders from requisitions.
5. Processing supplier invoices.
