Job Description
We're looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in JavaScript who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a collaborative environment.
While our future is focused on modern web technologies, we currently maintain a legacy low-code platform (Infinite Blue) that supports critical business processes. You'll play a key role in helping us sustain this platform during our migration to a new, modern stack, giving you exposure to both legacy systems and cutting-edge development practices.
Your contribution
* Maintain and enhance the current Infinite Blue low-code platform.
* Provide support to existing customers, ensuring smooth operation of business-critical applications.
* Development of new strategic application using React whilst utilising the current design system for components.
* Participate actively in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
* Learn and adapt quickly to new tools, frameworks, and processes.
* Help resolve production defects, issues, and queries in a timely manner.
* Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the team.
What makes you stand out
Requirements:
* Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and React.
* Understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
* Willingness to work with and learn a low-code platform (Infinite Blue).
* Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Desirable:
* Experience with C# or other back-end languages.
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
* Interest in CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
* Experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
* Curiosity about leveraging AI tools for software development.
