Job Description
Overall purpose is to engage proactively across all departments within the business to ensure the consistent and effective operations processes are implemented
3. Ensure effective coordination between customers, suppliers, drivers, engineers, and internal teams
4. Act as a key point of contact to resolve operational issues and challenges quickly and effectively
5. Ensure all parties are informed of requirements, timelines, and responsibilities
6. Oversee servicing, inspections, maintenance, and compliance of all machinery
7. Ensure servicing schedules are planned, monitored, and adhered to
8. Identify and address risks related to equipment availability, safety, or downtime
9. Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
10. Support customer queries, issues, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
11. Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual requirements
12. Identify errors, inefficiencies, or weaknesses in existing processes
13. Investigate root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions
14. Develop and introduce improvements to systems, workflows, and communication methods
15. Support the implementation of new processes, tools, or ways of working
16. Ensure clear communication across teams so everyone understands what is required and when
17. Monitor workloads, schedules, and priorities to avoid conflicts or delays
18. Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
19. Ensure operations comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations
20. Support audits, inspections, and reviews as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Support Lead should have:
21. Previous experience in a project support or administrative role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
22. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
23. Proficiency in using project management software and tools, SAP and Excel
24. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
25. A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
26. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
27. Full UK Driving Licence
