The Role
This role can be shaped as either a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager position, depending on your experience and career goals.
You’ll manage a mixed portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, combining compliance with advisory work and collaborating closely with partners on more complex matters.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment returns
*
Delivering tax planning and advisory work
*
Overseeing tax compliance processes and deadlines
*
Handling HMRC enquiries
*
Supporting VAT compliance and advisory work
*
Preparing and reviewing P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements
*
Keeping up to date with tax legislation and sharing knowledge
*
Mentoring and supporting junior team members
*
Playing a key role in the ongoing development of the tax function
Working Hours – Genuinely Flexible

What They’re Looking For
*
6+ years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice (essential)
*
Strong experience across corporation tax and personal tax
*
ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or part-qualified (AAT considered with experience)
*
Comfortable managing clients, deadlines and competing priorities
*
Strong technical and advisory capability
*
Experience using IRIS, CCH, Sage and/or Xero
*
Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
*
A minimum of 4 years’ UK practice experience
