Role Overview
This contractor specialises in refurbishment and compliance works across the social housing sector. As Senior Bid Manager you will manage a small team of Bid Writers and a Bid Executive, overseeing all tenders and submissions, and playing a key role in the company’s growth.
Responsibilities
* Write, edit and manage bids and tenders for construction projects.
* Lead a small team of Bid Writers and a Bid Executive.
* Oversee tender submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
* Conduct research and develop bid strategies.
* Collaborate with Business Development and Operations teams.
* Occasional site visits as required.
* Improve bid efficiency and support wider growth objectives.
Qualifications
* Experience writing bids within the construction industry.
* Strong literacy, communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to lead and support a team effectively.
* APMP qualification highly desirable.
* Proactive, detail‑driven and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Based within commutable distance of Bracknell, Hemel Hempstead or Swanley.
