Position Overview:
As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating wind energy projects, focusing on PLC programming and automation. You will collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring wind energy projects from start to finish.
2. Help develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met.
3. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation teams for seamless project delivery.
4. Use PLC programming skills to design and implement automation solutions for wind turbines.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions proactively.
7. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
8. Ensure compliance with safety, industry standards, and regulations.
9. Support continuous improvement by analyzing performance metrics and identifying optimization opportunities.
10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in wind energy and PLC programming.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
2. Experience in project management, preferably in renewable energy.
3. Knowledge of PLC programming languages (ladder logic, structured text) and hardware/software (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
4. Familiarity with automation systems, SCADA, and HMI software.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
8. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is advantageous.
9. Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability principles.
10. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
