Security Safety Support Officer
Permanent Full-Time role Location: Slough | Hours: 4 on 4 shift pattern including days and nights | Pay: £13.48 per hour
About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
* Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
* Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
* Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
* Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
* Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
* Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
* Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
* Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for
* To hold a current DS SIA Licence
* Full UK Driving License
* First Aid
* Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
* Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
