About the RoleWe are seeking a
driven Assistant Site Manager to join a reputable residential developer delivering a multi‑phase housing scheme. With several phases running concurrently, the project includes properties at groundworks, internal build stages, and final finishes across a varied mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes.Working closely with the on-site Senior Site Manager and reporting into the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the development and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily management of site operations across multiple build stages Support coordination of trades, subcontractors, and deliveries Ensure site safety standards and compliance are upheld at all times Monitor build progress and report updates to the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager Assist with quality checks, snagging, and ensuring work meets specification Maintain accurate site records and support project documentation processes Help drive productivity and ensure project timelines are met Requirements
SMSTS qualification (essential) First Aid at Work (essential) Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or strong background in residential construction (desired) Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work across different build phases simultaneously Strong understanding of health & safety and NHBC/regulatory standards
