As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll support older people to live with dignity, comfort and purpose. You’ll lead your team with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every person receives the best possible care.

What Your Day Could Involve

1. Leading, organising and supporting care teams on shift
2. Providing management cover when needed and maintaining a safe environment
3. Overseeing medication, care plans and audits
4. Supervising, developing and supporting staff
5. Promoting wellbeing and person-centred care at all times

About You
You’re an experienced care professional who leads with compassion and confidence. You support others with patience, understanding and respect. You have a Christian faith and are comfortable working within and upholding CrossReach’s ethos. You’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and be willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You’ll also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. 

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
