Hourly Rate: £12.90 per hour; Full Time 37.5 hours. Must have a Full Manual UK driving licence.
Description
Lily Close is located in Rainham, Essex. We offer residential support for nine people with a primary learning disability diagnosis. Our team is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the people we support, providing them with the skills needed to live healthier and happier lives back in the community.
What Youll Be Doing
* Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
* Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
* Provide support with day‑to‑day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living.
* Support the development of important family connections and liaise with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
* Encourage participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.
* Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
* Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
* Assistance and support to attend medical appointments.
* Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well‑being, quickly reporting any changes to senior staff.
* Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
