Senior electrical engineer

Job Description

Radius is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their client based in London. You must have experience with critical infrastructure such as UPS, AC / DC, Switchgear etc.


The Electrical Engineer is responsible for assisting the project team with the delivery and handover of Data Centres, reviewing and understanding of commissioning plans, optimising electrical systems to provide efficiency, quality, resilience and reliability across essential and critical systems, ensuring that all electrical works follow legislation and relevant ISO standards.


This role is responsible for providing electrical engineering services and guidance on all of electrical systems and ensure correct operation within the Data Centre facilities specifications.


Oversee Project drawings and specifications, to ensure compliance with all legislation, and responsible for project delivery of electrical installations, electrical distribution and power generation.


* Responsible for drafting specification documents for new build and or any other electrical projects.
* Responsible the commissioning of existing upgrades and new builds; leading electrical elements where required and the sign-off of electrical systems.


* Create/collaborate on commissioning test scripts for electrical elements for FATs, SATS and IST
