What is the job? Running various material and electronic flow operations within our end-to-end value stream to enable the production of finished goods. This is a varied role with many manual handling operations within a yard, light and heavy goods environment. Requirements What is essential to us… Practical ‘hands on’ approach with experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to follow time bound Standard Work. Attention to detail, ability to maintain focus and resolve problems to demonstrate excellent customer service. Valid (or working towards gaining) Counterbalance Truck certificate recognized by an accredited training body. Engaging with our supervision programme to enable a safe operation. Using ERP and other electronic Workflows. These will use PC, mobile or scanner type equipment. Ability to work in a team environment and working on a task rotation basis. Excellent verbal communication skills. Working collaboratively with other departments. Adhering to core values and driven positive attitude What we would like you to do/ to see… Work safely and follow all site HSE guidelines Carrying out multiple material flow processes to fulfil supermarkets, stock replenishment, Kanbans and waste processing. Operation of internal machinery in the production of materials to replenish supermarket stock. Using various material conveyancing methods such as Forklifts, motorised Pallet trucks and other manual methods. Follow electronic work flows to enable material flow, accurate stock control and Kanban maintenance. Operate the goods in process, which includes ERP & Kanban electronic processes.
