About the Role
We are looking for a commercially focused Financial Business Partner to join our Technology division. Reporting to the Operational Finance Director and forming part of a high performing Finance Leadership structure, you will play a key role in driving business performance through insightful financial analysis and strategic support.
This is a highly visible role where you will partner closely with operational leaders and Business Intelligence teams, translating financial data into meaningful insights that influence decision making and improve performance.
What you’ll be doing
* Act as the primary finance contact for the Technology business unit, providing clear and actionable financial insight.
* Interpret and communicate financial performance, including trends and key variances against budget and forecast.
* Deliver weekly KPI reporting on sales and installations to senior leadership.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for designated business areas.
* Conduct deep dive analysis to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
* Support working capital management and implement processes to improve cash generation.
* Partner with Business Development teams to evaluate new opportunities.
* Collaborate with FP&A to enhance planning cycles and reporting outputs.
* Develop and improve financial reporting and data visualisation methods.
* Track initiatives and synergies against budget and forecast.
* Line manage two team members and coordinate with offshore finance support.
* Contribute to business critical projects within the Technology division.
What you’ll bring
* Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
* Experience in management reporting, forecasting, and planning within a multi-site organisation.
* Proven ability to add value through commercial insight and constructive challenge.
* Confidently present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
* Experience within a technology or service led business is advantageous.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and interest in leveraging technology (including AI) to drive efficiencies.
* Willingness to travel to our London and North West offices when required.
