A Huddersfield company are seeking an IT Service Desk Technician who enjoys variety, visibility and hands-on work to join their team. You will support senior leaders and wider staff while gaining exposure across the full IT estate, from day-to-day troubleshooting to specialist software and infrastructure.

As the IT Service Desk Technician, you will:
* Provide 1st line support with a focus on first-time fix rate.
* Handle phone, email and in-person support requests.
* Create and manage work orders through a ticketing system.
* Perform 1st and some 2nd line fixes before escalating when needed.
* Monitor tickets to ensure completion within SLA.
* Follow up with staff to confirm satisfaction.
* Gain familiarity with local and national systems to improve escalation.
* Support occasional overtime / weekend project work.
