Job Description
New Directions is currently recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to work within an SEND setting within a mainstream primary school in Trafford. This is a longer-term, full-time position commencing after Easter or sooner for the right candidate.
The School:
1. Strong senior leadership team who create a calm, supportive environment to work in
2. Specialist provision within school that caters for learners with SEND, needs such as ASC and ADHD
3. Close to public transport routes
The Role:
4. Full-time classroom support for learners with SEND
5. 121 support as well as small group work expected
6. Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -3.30pm
The Candidate:
7. Recent classroom based experience working with primary aged learners with additional needs
8. Experience from support work or care experience will be considered for this position
