I am working with a primary school in the BD4 area that is looking to appoint a confident and dedicated KS2 teacher for the summer term. This full-time post will begin after the Easter break and continue until July.
The PositionThe successful teacher will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire, motivate, and support pupils to make strong progress. You will contribute to assessment, planning, and the wider curriculum, ensuring that learners are challenged appropriately and feel confident in their abilities.
What We’re Looking ForThe school is seeking a teacher who can bring energy, consistency, and a positive ethos to the classroom. Candidates must:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Have recent experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3 or Year 4
3. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-related expectations
4. Show strong behaviour management and amitment to inclusive practice
5. Be able to adapt quickly and work collaboratively with the existing staff team
