THE OPPORTUNITY
SII UK are hiring for a role of a System Integration Expert in Bristol.
Through this role you will contribute specialised Radar Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge through regular meetings and collaborative team efforts. Document and deliver necessary knowledge using templates or reports.
Offer consulting expertise to facilitate the integration of SOLA and BYSTRA radars, emphasising system performance aspects.
TASKS:
The primary activities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
* GAMB Radar Integration:
* Provide expert Radar SME knowledge and proficiency to support the integration with the GAMB radar, including considerations of system performance.
* Transfer knowledge through a combination of documentation and one-on-one sessions based on the specific needs of the project and its team members.
* NAREW System Performance Optimization:
* Provide specialised systems engineering support forsystem studies related to the performance aspects of new development areas.
* Introducing new capabilities into the product (CAMM-ER, CSAC, Talin NLA, IBCS, etc.), along with documentation and knowledge transfer as needed.
* Optimizing performance (e.g., Launcher mechanical build tolerances/calibration process), with knowledge transfer and documentation as required.
* Offer expert Radar SME knowledge and proficiency to support integration with the radar for the KSA export demonstration firing trial.
* Develop technical systems engineering documentation for the Weapon System, meeting the set timescales by the Task Package Holder.
* Analyse Trials Data as needed, delivered within the timescales set by the Task Package Holder.
* Provide SME input to Performance and Alignment work and assist, in-service support, and export programs with Radar Modeling and Integration.
