Air Freight Forwarder (Weekends) Location: Derby Shift pattern: Friday to Sunday | 8:00pm - 8:00am Contract: Permanent Salary up to £37,000 I'm recruiting for an experienced Weekend Nights Air Freight Forwarder to support time-critical AOG and air freight logistics operations. This role is ideal for a proven night-shift operator who is confident managing urgent air and road freight movements independently, making real-time decisions, and delivering under pressure. What you'll be doing Managing AOG, Aerospace & Defence, and Automotive shipments via Air and Road Producing accurate quotations for time-critical movements via phone, email, and customer platforms Proactively monitoring live shipments and providing regular customer updates Coordinating with airlines, hauliers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery Managing bookings, documentation, and all operational activity (start to finish) within a TMS, escalating issues where required Essential experience (applications without these will not be considered) Proven AOG operational experience Valid IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) Certificate MAYB experience Strong Air Export operations background Experience handling Imports, Exports, and Cross-Trade shipments What's on offer Permanent weekend nights role based in Derby Up to £37,000 International shipment exposure Supportive, experienced operations team Hybrid working available following successful completion of training If you're an experienced AOG / time-critical logistics operator looking for a Friday-Sunday night shift role in Derby, this opportunity offers autonomy, responsibility, and genuine operational impact.
