Health & Safety Manager
Location: Aberdeenshire
Reports to: Operations Director
Sector: Food Manufacturing
A well-established food production company is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead site safety strategy and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. This senior role is ideal for an experienced H&S professional with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement site-wide H&S plans and policies.
* Promote a positive safety culture and ensure legal compliance.
* Conduct training, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
* Monitor safety performance and recommend improvements.
* Maintain H&S records, ensure BRC and QHSE standards are met.
Candidate Profile
* NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (essential); Degree preferred.
* Proven experience in a senior H&S role, ideally in manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of legislation, risk assessment, and reporting.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
