Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Officer for a 12-month maternity cover contract based in Haverfordwest. The role is part-time, offering 30.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,000-£26,900 per annum FTE (£13-£14 per hour). This is a well-established and market-leading business in West Wales.
The ideal candidate will possess a high level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills to handle a high volume of financial data and liaise with customers, clients, and colleagues. Responsibilities include:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for customer sales enquiries
2. Raising sales invoices and credit notes
3. Supporting audit processes and month-end procedures
4. Resolving pricing issues and invoicing queries with customers and sales teams
Experience in a finance-related role is preferred, but training may be available for strong administrators with invoicing exposure or financial training such as AAT or bookkeeping courses. The role is office-based, with flexible hours that can be slightly increased for the right candidate.
