Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering defined project work packages within our Major Infrastructure Projects business area. Working in a highly regulated environment, you will balance schedule, cost, quality and risk to ensure successful outcomes that meet customer and business expectations.
* Delivering project management activities including schedule, cost, risk and reporting
* Managing work packages delivered by internal teams and external suppliers
* Controlling project budgets, forecasts and financial performance
* Engaging stakeholders to agree scope, requirements and delivery plans
* Applying project controls and governance using agreed business systems and frameworks
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office/onsite.
Essential Experience
* Demonstrable experience delivering projects or work packages within complex environments
* Proven ability to manage schedule, cost, risk and resource effectively
* Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams and third‑party suppliers
* Ability to support or lead elements of larger, complex projects
* Experience working in regulated or safety‑critical sectors is advantageous
Qualifications
* A Level 4 qualification in engineering, project management, construction or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
* Association for Project Management qualification – desirable
* Working toward or holding Registered Project Professional status would be advantageous
