Their team of experts excels in programme and project management, construction delivery, and cost consultancy, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and open-mindedness.With a proven track record, they have successfully delivered projects for a diverse clientele across various sectors, including retail, commercial, distribution, residential, data centers, student accommodation, hotels, automotive, leisure, and education.They are located in Kent, and they have a policy of people working from home a maximum of 2 days/week for those living within a 30 mile radius of the office and 3 days/week for those living within a 50 mile radius of the office.Role Description:Manage and oversee retail refurbishment projects as the project manager and employer's agent.Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.Conduct site visits and inspections across various locations in the UK, requiring the ability to drive.Provide leadership and direction to project teams to achieve project goals effectively.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or queries throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize project delivery processes and outcomes.Requirements:Proven experience as a project manager or employer's agent in UK, preferably in retail construction projects.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Flexibility to travel to various project sites across the UK.Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.A proactive and solution-oriented approach to project challenges.Retail construction/project management experience is preferred but not essential; however, experience as an external project manager or employer's agent is required.To Apply:To be considered for this role please apply using the Apply button below or please email your CV to Mary Croydon at apply@richmond-capital.co.uk quoting the reference number for this position in the email title.
