and main responsibilities
1. To participate in the rotational scheme, this involves working across the Trust sites in inpatient and community settings
2. To work as part of the Dorset Integrated Care System, enabling the Discharge to Assess and Home First Principles for patients across all appropriate rotational areas
3. To consolidate Physiotherapy core skills across the range of clinical areas developing own skills and knowledge through active learning
4. To show flexibility in the differing clinical Physiotherapy skills required in the various environments that the rotational system provides
5. To manage a defined caseload, using evidence based / client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in hospital and community settings
6. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner under the direction of more senior qualified staff
7. To participate in weekend working and extended hours as required, ensuring efficient therapy service provision in line with Trust priorities
8. To participate in the Respiratory Physiotherapy On-call service providing emergency respiratory physiotherapy service as required

Personal Attributes
Essential criteria
9. Ability to demonstrate organisational values and behaviours with example provided
10. Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) with example provided
11. Able to work as part of respiratory weekend and on call rota.
12. Possession of a clean UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
13. Experience of placement or work in a UK NHS Setting
Desirable criteria
14. Attendance at relevant pre/post registration courses
Experience
Essential criteria
15. Student experience/placements in the following areas: Musculoskeletal OP, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Elderly care, ITU/Respiratory Medicine, Acute medicine.
16. Example Provided of placement/student experience.
Desirable criteria
17. Experience working within a care setting
18. Involvement in audit or quality improvement projects and example provided.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
19. State Registered (HCPC) or pending.
20. Pre reg Degree in Physiotherapy either BSc(Hons) or MSc (Hons)
Knowledge
Essential criteria
21. Knowledge of the Physiotherapy process, its application in clinical practice and its role within the organisation
22. Broad and relevant clinical knowledge of physical conditions and their appropriate treatment modalities.
23. Awareness of National Service Frameworks and Clinical Governance and example provided
24. Understanding and application of Evidence Based Practice and example provided
25. Application of risk assessments and considerations in practice with example proivded
