<div><h3>Finance Assistant (Part-Time)</h3><p>Location: Market Harborough, Employment type: Permanent Part‑Time, Salary: £14 per hour + benefits, Office based. Macildowie are working with a leading client in Market Harborough to recruit a Finance Assistant for a growing organisation.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail‑oriented finance professional to join a busy finance team in a varied and hands‑on role. Working across multiple areas of the finance function, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of finance operations.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Processing financial transactions and maintaining accounting records using Xero</li><li>Supporting the purchase ledger process and liaising with outsourced finance providers</li><li>Managing supplier invoices, approvals and payment runs</li><li>Reviewing expenses and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Completing bank reconciliations and posting financial transactions</li><li>Supporting monthly payroll processes and payroll postings</li><li>Preparing inter‑company invoices and recharges</li><li>Assisting with monthly reconciliations and finance reporting</li><li>Supporting managers with finance‑related queries</li><li>Assisting with journals, schedules and month‑end processes</li><li>Conducting regular reviews to identify discrepancies and improve processes</li><li>Providing financial information and reports to senior stakeholders</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role</li><li>Experience using accounting software, ideally Xero</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills</li><li>Comfortable working within a fast‑paced environment</li></ul><p>If youre looking for a varied finance position where you can contribute to a growing business and further develop your skills, wed love to hear from you.</p></div>
