We are seeking a Curriculum and Learning Lead within a wonderful Nursery School in Lancing to work alongside their Teachers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early years education and will inspire and lead a team to promote the highest standards of educational provision. Your role will be to lead a team of Nursery Nurses and Nursery assistants under the direct of the Head of School to ensure high quality, fully integrated care and education. You will be liasing and coordingating with members of the team to ensure high standards and consistency in the educational provision across the Nursery School. You will also act as a Keycarer to a group of children, with overall responsibility for their welfare and development.
As the Curriculum and Learning Lead, you will be joining an outstanding team who deliver a family feel to the children and staff alike. please note: you will need to hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to be considered for this role.
Requirements:
The ideal Curriculum and Learning Lead will have;
Level 3 in Early Years Childcare or Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (Essential)
Experience of leadership within a team in a nursery or early years setting
A deep understanding of child development and EYFS framework
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use your initiative to ensure the smooth running of the Nursery School
The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and children
