My client, a leading national industrial door specialist, is looking for a positive, proactive Lead Loading Bay Installations and Project Engineer to help support their expanding service operations in your region Working as part of a two to four man team What you’ll be doing in your new Lead Loading Bay Installations and Project Engineer role To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed. Installation and removals of loading bay products including (but not limited to) sectional doors, roller shutters, high speed doors, dock levelers, loading houses, scissor lifts, vehicle restraints, control panels, dock seals / shelters, traffic lights, wheel guides, buffers and ancillary equipment. To be the point of contact to the field engineers and report to the pm about job status and progress. Hydraulic, electrical installation and fabrication work. Working on own and part of a two or four man team Managing installation teams on large projects Managing the client / end user / assigned contractor’s / principal contractor on site taking responsibility for standards and compliance being followed on site, Managing all plants and equipment from delivery to off hire Supporting the installation managers and back office On site management of projects from start to completion Supporting the project & installation manager on new and live project works Working on new build and retro installation projects Completing warranty work and after installation care Occasional site surveys for pricing and specification prior to order Occasionally job run through as and when required to support project jobs What you’ll need for your new Lead Loading Bay Installations and Project Engineer role Hands on experience in installation and removals of loading bay products including (but not limited to) sectional doors, roller shutters, high speed doors, dock levelers, loading houses, scissor lifts, vehicle restraints, control panels, dock seals / shelters, traffic lights, wheel guides, buffers and ancillary equipment.
