Job Overview
The Care of the Elderly (CotE) Directorate is looking for a forward‑thinking, friendly, caring and motivated individual to join the CotE team and provide excellent service to our patients. The EFU Coordinator will oversee the EFU assessment area, ensuring the smooth delivery of our Grace – rapid access clinics and prompt in‑patient review. The role involves booking Grace clinics, managing and monitoring waiting lists, answering telephone queries and working in accordance with Welsh Government RTT guidelines. The postholder will also coordinate in‑patient referrals to the CotE service and work closely with medical and nursing teams.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the EFU assessment area and promote efficient service delivery
* Book Grace clinics and manage waiting lists
* Answer telephone queries and coordinate in‑patient referrals
* Ensure compliance with Welsh Government RTT guidelines
* Travel across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board sites as required
