TheOpportunity:
Reporting to the COOthe Contracts Manager will provide the commercial contractual andstrategic expertise to support Rovcos contracts (post award phase)supply chain and logistics activities. They will develop andmaintain an agile effective framework for delivery of thedepartments objectives supported by correct processes andprocedures.
They will provide the leadership todevelop and support the supply chain and logisticsteam.
Critical to the role is the development ofstrong collaborative relationships with clients within the businessas well as across the supply chain.
MainResponsibilities
* Managementof all post contract governance
* Setting up andmanage the supply chain function including line management of abuyer and logistics coordinator
* Establish andmaintain a framework for post award commercial and contractualdelivery
* Support post award delivery incommercial and contractual matters ensuring compliance with theclient contract requirements
* Assist inmaximising commercial opportunities including the preparationdrafting and negotiation of variations andclaims
* Establish a supply chain function andformulate and implement a supporting strategy including the correctteam systems tools and processes
* Work withother internal stakeholders to ensure strong supplychainrelationships are created and fostered and leverage these topositive effect
* Establish and lead a systemwith supporting team tools and processes to manage the companyslogistics function to optimum effect to maximise efficiency andminimise downtime to the business
* Develop andmaintain relationships with logistics servicespartners
* Provide strong leadership to thesupply chain management and logistics team fostering acollaborative and highperformance culture.
* Setclear performance expectations provide coaching and facilitateprofessional development opportunities.
* Manageand allocate resources effectively to meet operational needs andobjectives.
Youshould apply if youhave:
Essential:
* Bachelors degree in BusinessManagement Law Quantity Surveying or a related field. A Mastersdegree in a relevant discipline is preferred
* Strong working knowledge of UK commercial lawsregulations and industry standards
* Demonstrated experience in contractnegotiation and management
* Experience inbuilding a robust supply chain function to support the plannedgrowth within a subsea servicesenvironment
* Experience leading a supply chainand logistics function within similar organisations with extremelypositive outcomes
* Solid financial acumen withthe ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions
* Proficiency in identifying potential risks andimplementing effective mitigation strategies
* Ability to foster strong businessrelationships with clients suppliers and partners to drive mutuallybeneficial outcomes
* Agility to thrive in adynamic business environment and respond to changing businessconditionseffectively
Desirable:
* Apost graduate degree or diploma in an associatedsubject
* Supply Chain or legalqualification
