Job Description
3. Manage a portfolio of private clients.
4. Review and prepare self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
7. Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support where needed.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
9. Assist with tax investigations and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
10. Work closely with other departments to provide holistic advice to clients
The Successful Applicant
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
11. Professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or QBE.
12. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and related legislation.
13. Proven experience in managing a portfolio of private clients in the professional services industry.
14. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
15. Ability to provide bespoke tax planning and compliance advice.
16. Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
17. Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
