Our client is a leading global investment management group, managing over £16 billion in assets across multiple jurisdictions. The firm has significantly expanded its footprint in Europe and North America and is seeking a highly motivated Venture Capital Analyst to join its London-based investment team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to gain full-cycle exposure to venture capital transactions, work directly with senior stakeholders and founders, and support high-growth companies across the media, marketing, and technology sectors
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain robust financial models, including revenue projections and valuation analysis
* Conduct detailed financial, market, and industry analysis for potential investments
* Assist in due diligence processes including customer calls, competitive landscape reviews, and tech evaluations
* Draft investment memorandums and support internal investment committee presentations
* Monitor portfolio company performance, preparing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Contribute to deal structuring, term sheet negotiation, and transaction documentation
* Perform market research on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify investment opportunities
Essential requirements:
The successful candidate must have a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university alongside strong financial modelling and excel skills. We will only consider candidates from the following categories:
* Big 4 accountancy firm - ACA qualified with additional experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance or another commercial division
* Working as an Analyst in investment banking, private equity or venture capital in London
A demonstrated interest in media, marketing, technology, or SaaS sectors is also beneficial.
