Hays is recruiting on behalf of a leading defence FM provider for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join the team at RAF Fairford. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and a passion for compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
?? The RoleYou'll be responsible for:
* Delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the estate
* Producing Risk Assessments & Method Statements
* Supporting site teams, contractors & end users
* Advising on MOD Safe Systems of Work (JSP375)
* Coaching and assessing Skilled Persons
* Supporting carbon reduction initiatives
? What You'll Need
* Fully qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* AP tickets (Electrical or Mechanical) preferred - training provided if not held
* Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work & JSP375
* Experience supervising site operations & leading teams
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to join out-of-hours on-call rota
