What are we looking for?
We are looking for a technically competent engineering professional to join us as an Energy Engineer for a 15 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of building services engineering, with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
As the Energy Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Utilize expertise in building management systems (BMS) to identify energy cost-saving opportunities and conduct site surveys.
* Collaborate with the in-house FM team and BMS service providers to make adjustments to strategies and settings, ensuring optimal energy efficiency.
* Project manage energy-saving control projects, including cost estimation and verification of cost-saving impacts.
* Work closely with the Estates and Capital Projects team to integrate energy-saving initiatives into broader facility management strategies
What do we need?
* HNC/D in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
* Experience within management of building or environmental technology and services management
* Experience in the management of a high quality, responsive and cost effective estates service with specific customer focus.
* Energy management and policy development
