Responsibilities:
1. Drive impactful change: Harness raw data and key performance indicators to make smart, evidence-based decisions that streamline workflows and cut waste—helping our production processes run at their best.

3. Shape the future: Play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI), making sure new products and processes are fully prepared for successful launches.
4. Empower others: Create and deliver training materials across departments, helping colleagues build new skills and confidence.
5. Build talent: Mentor and coach Apprentices and Technicians, supporting their growth and strengthening our team’s capabilities.
6. Lead with influence: Guide project teams and chair meetings across factory departments, driving collaboration and results.
7. Collaborate globally: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure projects and essential components are delivered on time, every time.
8. Prioritize safety and compliance: Uphold all Health, Safety, and Environment standards, meeting both company and statutory obligations to keep our workplace safe and compliant.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements
9. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience gained through substantial industry practice.
10. Proven experience in process or manufacturing engineering within a production or related environment.
11. Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering and technical drawings, schematics, and documentation in a production or process engineering setting.
Desirable but Not Essential
12. Knowledge and experience of working with Lean or Six Sigma principles.
13. Familiarity with quality systems such as FMEA and control plans.
14. Experience of working within a health and safety system, including understanding of relevant legislation such as PUWER, COSHH, and other machinery safety regulations.
