The Business & Opportunity:
A well respected, growing and reputable North Leeds based accountancy practice is looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to provide an excellent service to their client base. Alongside the accounts remit, you will also work within their personal tax team.
You will be based at their impressive North Leeds offices in LS17 and work with their small team in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Requirement:
Reporting to the Practice Manager, and working as part of a small team, you will take responsibility for the following tasks:
1. Accounts Preparation to draft level, either taken from Excel based bookkeeping records, or from trial balance and ledger reports.
2. Playing a key role in the personal tax team, which will include preparing and filing tax returns, payments-on-account, P11Ds, simple trust returns and R40s., tax-coding notice reviews, liaison with HMRC.
3. Reconcile Balance Sheets.
4. Prepare working files for Partner review.
5. MTD (Making Tax Digital) Quarterly returns.
6. Draft Corporation tax computation...
